Care for Animals or Take a Dog Out
Volunteers help care for shelter animals or take a dog out for a few hours through the Doggy Day Out program at the Athens Area Humane Society. Volunteers 10 and up are welcome, and those 10 to 16 volunteer alongside a parent. It is one of the most family-friendly animal options in the area.
