Pack Backpacks for Neighbors Experiencing Homelessness
Volunteers help assemble backpacks of food, toiletries, and essentials and, at some events, hand them directly to people experiencing homelessness in Athens, Atlanta, or Augusta. Run by students, it is an especially good fit for teens and youth groups. Packing events are social and easy to jump into for a first project.
