Volunteers help adults build reading, writing, math, and work skills through Literacy Action, the largest free adult-education nonprofit in Georgia. Training is provided, and it is a good fit if you want a consistent, one-on-one teaching relationship. Many college students, professionals, and retirees volunteer here.
